KOKOindia Luxury Travels is a very specialist little bespoke travel company, established in India in 2007 by British born founder Joanna Lester-George. Having always having been an enthusiastic world traveller, Joanna first set out to explore India many, many moons ago. She was captivated forever by the beautiful craziness of India and considers it to be ‘The Most Extraordinary Country On Earth.’
Joanna left London in 2006 to make India her home, and first lived in Rajasthan where she designed and set up a restaurant. Here she met many seasoned travellers who felt compelled to opt for ‘tour group holidays’ in order to navigate the quirkiness of India. Joanna quickly saw the need for a dedicated and trustworthy ‘Travel Consultancy for India’ – based on firsthand experiences, impartial recommendations and innate travel expertise. She later moved to tropical Goa to set up KOKOindia Luxury Travels so that fellow travel lovers, like herself, could design their own dream India holiday in style.
As one of India’s leading specialist travel company, KOKOindia Luxury Travels is a far cry from the usual anonymous travel agents or online booking engines. Our HQ is located in a fishing village in tropical South Goa, where Joanna lives with her son in a little house by the sea. She continues to travel extensively around India to personally source outstanding hotels and experiences for guests of KOKOindia, and has a wonderful network of hoteliers and friends to connect you with.

HOW A BESPOKE HOLIDAY WORKS
* KOKOindia works with a select number of clients in order to be able to offer an exclusive and dedicated travel experience. We invite you to share your ideas for a unique tailormade holiday in India, and Joanna is always happy to arrange a friendly chat to talk through inspirational options. Once we understand your personal style of travel, holiday pace and approximate budget, KOKOindia will usually design a choice of outline itineraries for you to choose from.
* A deposit is required to secure our services before beginning the more detailed planning of your trip, and you may refer to our standard Terms and Conditions for more details here. KOKOindia holidays usually start at around ₹150,000 per person per week, unless you are sharing a family suite. They are fully inclusive of domestic flights, chauffeured overland transport, privately guided sightseeing tours and the finest in barefoot chic, luxury and heritage accommodation. KOKOindia’s special discounted hotel rates are incorporated into the cost of your holiday (and therefore a breakdown of costs is not provided.) This ensures that a tailormade holiday with KOKOindia’s ongoing travel services represents fantastic value for money.
* With your holiday itinerary in place, KOKOindia will design a beautiful Travel Brochure inclusive of tailored tips and recommendations, which you will receive when warmly greeted at the airport. The smooth running of your trip will be overseen by Joanna and her team ‘24/7’ throughout your stay in India. We are always available to our guests should you require any advice or assistance during your holiday.
